Bar\u00e3o Fladgate – Porto – Portugal<\/h2>\n

Das Restaurant des Portweinhauses Taylor Fladgate, Bar\u00e3o Fladgate, liegt auf der s\u00fcdlichen Douroseite Portos in Vila Nova de Gaia. Von einer der sch\u00f6nsten Terrassen ganz Portos hat der Gast hier die M\u00f6glichkeit, auf den Douro hinunter zu blicken, die imposante Ponte Luis I Br\u00fccke zu bewundern und weite traumhafte Blicke \u00fcber Porto zu erhaschen. Neben dem sensationellen Ausblick sind hier auch die Portweine nicht zu verachten. Das Restaurant h\u00f6chst selbst begeistert durch schlichte Eleganz und vermittelt Klasse. Da k\u00f6nnen die Hauptprotagonisten in Form von aufgetragenen Speisen leider nicht mithalten.<\/p>\n

Der nett gemeinte Gru\u00df aus der K\u00fcche in Form einer kleinen Empanada mit Schweinefleischf\u00fcllung geriet doch ein wenig zu trocken. Die Garnelen wurden dann geschmacklich ein wenig von der frittierten Pankomasse (japanisches Paniermehl) erschlagen. Der im Backofen gegarte Seehecht in einer Art Kartoffelsuppe war zwar ohne Zweifel der beste Gang dieses Mittagsmen\u00fcs, wirkte insgesamt aber auch ein wenig lieblos zusammengestellt.<\/p>\n

Das Semifredo als Dessert ist eigentlich etwas Halbgefrorenes oder ein Eiskuchen. Bei dem hier verabreichten St\u00fcckchen kann eigentlich nur von einem aus verschiedenen Farbanteilen bestehenden sehr s\u00fc\u00dfen Dessert gesprochen werden… die Klimaanlage im Restaurant verspr\u00fchte deutlich mehr K\u00e4ltemomente als diese Nachspeise.<\/p>\n

Zum Hause Taylor sollte man also lieber gehen, um die sensationellen Portweine zu probieren…<\/p>\n\n
